What is MCP?

An open standard that lets Claude and ChatGPT use apps on your Mac. Resolve Studio 21.1 has it built in. Final Cut doesn’t yet, so Doza Cuts and Doza Assist bring their own.

Is the guide free?

Yes. Doza Assist and Doza Cuts have free trials. The AI needs a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan.

Do I need to code?

No. Level 1 needs no code. For Level 2, your AI writes the scripts and you check each one.

Does it work with Resolve? Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. The guide shows Final Cut and Resolve side by side, and Claude and ChatGPT both work. In Resolve Studio 21.1 the AI can also work inside Resolve.

Does my footage leave my Mac?

No. Video and audio stay on your Mac. Claude or ChatGPT see only text, like transcripts and cut details, from the projects you switch on.
