For a year, Doza Assist has been a single thing: an app you buy once, that runs on your Mac, that never sends your footage anywhere. That is not changing. Today we are adding a second way to have it, and the reason for the second way is one feature we have wanted since the first cut we ever sent a producer for notes.
It is called Share, and it comes with the new Studio plan.
The problem Share solves
Every interview edit has more people in it than the editor. A producer wants to flag the lines that matter. A client wants to say "not that one." A reporter knows the quote is in there somewhere and needs to find it before the piece goes. A second editor is cutting the other half of the film.
Today that conversation happens in email, in a spreadsheet of timecodes, in a screen recording of a scrub, or in a review tool that stops at comments. None of it lands in the timeline. Someone still has to go find the moment.
What Share does
Share publishes one interview, or a whole collection, to a private link on share.doza.ai. Your collaborator opens it in a browser. No account, nothing to install. They get the transcript, the audio, the speaker labels and word-level playback, and they can do real work with it:
- Highlight the lines that matter, in the same five colors you use in the app.
- Pull clips with in and out points on the word, plus a note about why this moment.
- Comment on a line, a clip or the whole interview.
- Ask their own AI. If you allow it for that link, they can connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, or any assistant that speaks MCP and ask it to find the moments. Same transcript you have, their assistant, your permission.
And then the part that makes it worth building: everything they make syncs back into your Doza Assist project. Their highlights, clips and notes show up alongside yours. You keep what works and send it to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve like any other select.
You stay in control
We believe collaboration is where a cut gets good. We also believe it should not cost you control of the footage. So the rules of each link are yours:
- Permissions per link. Comment only, highlight, make clips, use AI, or read only. Change them any time.
- Passcode for client work under NDA.
- Pause a link read-only while you cut, then reopen it for the next round.
- Revoke and the hosted copy, the audio and every note are deleted from the server. Not hidden. Deleted.
And the thing that has always mattered most here: the video never leaves your Mac. A share link contains a compressed audio track and the transcript, behind a token, and nothing else. Your other projects are never reachable from a link.
Two ways to have Doza Assist
We did not want to turn the app into a subscription. We also could not run a hosted service on a one-time price. So there are now two plans, and they are deliberately simple:

Teams and organizations get Enterprise: one key for the whole team, one seat per machine, invoiced yearly.
If you already own the one-time license, nothing about it changes, and you will be able to add Share to it in a coming update. If you want Share today, Studio is the way to have it.
